The celebration took place at the stunning Cavan Crystal Hotel, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening of recognition, pride, and entertainment.

The event honoured the remarkable achievements of the Virginia Ladies GAA Football Club, proudly known as the Lurgan Ladies, following their outstanding county final victory. After an incredible 2025 season defined by commitment, teamwork, and determination, players were presented with medals and individual awards celebrating their hard-earned success. It was a night that truly reflected the spirit and dedication of the club both on and off the pitch.

Chairman Michael Maguire was in attendance to present the awards, alongside Father Dermot Pryor, adding to the significance of the occasion. Members of the press were also present to capture the memorable moments as players took to the stage to receive their honours. The ceremony not only celebrated past achievements but also looked ahead with optimism, wishing the team every success for the 2026 football season.
