Sometimes with all the wedding planning tasks on your to-do list it can be hard to know where to start, we want to show you how to keep yourself sane while wedding planning! Below are four simple but genius tips to help get you started!
1. Don't Do It Alone
Don't do it alone! If you're more organised than your other half you've probably taken on the bulk of the wedding planning. Here's a list of a few ways you can get help and support while planning your wedding to ensure the responsibility is shared;
- Your other half
- The wedding party
- Your family
- Your suppliers
2. Have A Wedding Planning Email Account
One of our top tips is to create a wedding email address to keep all your wedding related emails together! This makes it so much easier to distinguish between your wedding emails and your personal emails.
3. Have A Dedicated Wedding Planning Day
In the first few months of wedding planning we recommend you dedicate a particular day/evening to do all your wedding planning. We find this helps to avoid feeling overwhelmed with the planning process. One day/evening per week is fine when you're just starting out, but you'll need to increase your frequency as you get closer to your wedding day!
4. Use A Checklist
Checklists will be your best friend when it comes to wedding planning. It's a helpful way to keep track of all the tasks you need to do. You can find loads of handy checklists online or even create your own! You can read out blog posts on how to plan your wedding day timeline here, and how to plan your wedding morning timeline here!
