There's no doubt that wedding planning can be stressful, although you'll make lots of fun, exciting wedding decisions! However, these decisions can be hard to keep under wraps once you've nailed them down! Trus us though, there are afew wedding details that you don't want to share before the big day - keep sme of the key surprisesto yourself and keep your guests guessing!
What you'll wear
We all know you want jaws to drop when you arrive at your wedding location, so be sure not to let any details of your wedding outfit slip before the big day! While it may be tempting to share pictures with friends and family in advance of the big day but we recommend waiting until the wedding day for the outfit reveal to add the 'wow' factor!
Hair & makeup
If you’re planning on having hair and makeup that’s different to your daily look, then keep it a surprise. If you skip sharing the details, you’re more likely to hear the encouraging ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ as you walk down the aisle.
Wedding colours
You want your guests to be surprised when they see your venue and decor, so don’t tell them too much about your wedding style. Some guests may notice your colours from your invitations and website, and that’s totally okay too!
Decor details
We suggest keeping your wedding decor details on the low until the big day, while your wedding theme may give guests and family a hint, allow the key decor details to remain a secret until the day arrives. For example don’t tell them what type of centrepieces you’ve selected or which table linens you’ve got. Allow them to marvel at these details when they step into the venue!
Song choices
Music plays a key part in many moments throughout your wedding timeline, whether it be walking down the aisle or your first dance. Allow your song choices to remain a surprise and wow your guests with them in the moment!
Guest list
We recommend keeping guest lists to yourself for obvious reasons, it can be pretty awkward having to explain why somebody didn't make the list!
Surprises
This one is pretty self-explanatory but we'll mention it anyway - if you’ve arranged a special entertainment surprise, keep it on the down-low. We’re talking about singing waiters, a Celtic dance routine, a video booth at the venue or a fabulous magician. Let your guests enjoy the surprise!
